Applying sunblock on hands in sunlight for UV protection and healthy skin care
Applying sunblock on hands in sunlight helps protect skin from harmful UV rays and keeps it healthy.
Asslam o alaikum Friends 😊
As you all know, the weather nowadays is warmer and drier. We need to protect our beloved skin from the sun. Sunlight gives us vitamin D, which benefits skin, but UVA and UVB rays can cause burns, tanning, itchiness, redness, and other skin issues.
Homemade Sunscreen Ingredients
Instead of buying expensive sunblocks, you can make a natural sunscreen at home using:
- Sunflower oil – 1 tsp
- Aloe Gel – 1 tbsp
- Boiled Water – 50 ml
- Zinc Oxide Cream / Nappy Rash Cream – 3 to 4 tsp
Method to Prepare Homemade Sunscreen
- Pour boiled water into a cup or deep plate for mixing.
- Add sunflower oil and aloe gel, mix well.
- Add zinc oxide cream gradually. If mixture is runny, add more zinc oxide for lotion-like texture.
- Mix thoroughly or shake in a bottle for better consistency.
- Optional: Use a spray bottle for easy application. This homemade sunscreen provides SPF 15–20 protection.
How to Apply
Spray or apply the mixture on your face and hands before going out in the sun. Gently massage until fully absorbed. Reapply as needed to ensure continued protection.
